The album presents twelve tracks, most of which were written or co-written by Schorr. Schorr is blessed with an incredibly expressive and powerful vocal abilities with almost no competitors on the contemporary scene. Combined with her excellent songwriting, she should dominate the Blues scene, but on the other hand she might simply be too good for her own good, as the recognition is somehow slow to come, at least as far as her enormous talent in concerned. In many respects Schorr’s talent is parallel to that of Janis Joplin, upon her arrival on the scene. Supported by excellent musicians she is an unstoppable hurricane of Blues-Rock energy on stage, as this album proves beyond any doubt; a force of Nature indeed! Overall, this is a brilliant debut album from start to finish, which is an absolute heaven on earth for Blues-Rock listeners, especially since the genre suffered from decades of absence of female vocalists of such class and talent. It presents ten tracks with electric backing and a couple of bonus tracks with acoustic versions from a session for the BBC. She writes most of her material by herself. She also recorded an album with British Blues-Rock hero Robin TrowerFind albums by this artist, called "Joyful SkyFind albums with this title", which was released in 2023 and was one of the absolutely best releases of the genre that year. Schorr is blessed with an incredibly expressive and powerful vocal abilities with almost no competitors on the contemporary scene. Combined with her excellent songwriting, she should dominate the Blues scene, but on the other hand she might simply be too good for her own good, as the recognition is somehow slow to come. In many respects Schorr’s talent is parallel to that of Janis JoplinFind albums by this artist, upon her arrival on the scene. Supported by excellent musicians she is an unstoppable hurricane of Blues-Rock energy on stage, as this album proves beyond any doubt. I am eagerly waiting for her next album to see how she crystalizes her many talents. Trower plays both guitar and bass guitar. Occasional keyboards are played by Adrian GautreyFind albums by this artist. The album presents ten original songs, all by Trower. Following his departure from the iconic Procol HarumFind albums by this artist, Trower pursues a solo career since 1973, with dozens of albums to his credit. He manages miraculously to stick to his own formula of creative Blues-Rock, which he follows in the sixth decade of his career. His guitar playing is still sharp and clear-cut and his vocals are still as powerful as always, and he does not need to reinvent himself or search for any new avenues, doing what he does best. His many fans love his music, and that’s what matters the most. Schorr is an incredible rising star on the Blues-Rock scene, and this is her 4th album following three excellent solo albums. Her vocals are gutsy and full of the Blues sensitivity, which is very rare. The songs on this album continue the style of Trower’s late solo albums, soaked with deep Blues feel and spiced by the spectacular guitar playing, which sounds as good as ever. His abilities remain completely intact and his album are as reliable as sunrise and sunset. Overall, this is another gem of an album in the long list of his solo albums, which happily for us he keeps delivering in regular time interviews. For his many followers, getting this album is absolutely a no-brainer.
