The album offers superb sound quality. As Jopek herself writes on the album’s artwork, this album is a summary of her tremendous activity during half the decade (1997 – 2002) that proceeded this live recording / filming, which included recording eight studio albums, including an album with Pat MethenyFind albums by this artist, all of which were full of brilliant music and tremendous performances by the musicians accompanying her – an unprecedented achievement on the Polish music scene. As I have already written in my reviews of her albums, she is an absolute unique Artists, with incredible harmonic sensitivity, magic improvisational abilities and great songwriting talent. The fact that she did not release a new album since several years saddens me greatly and prompted me write this review, which I did not write at the time this album was released. Please come back to us dear AMJ! Overall, this is a brilliant vocal Jazz album, an absolute must have (preferably in this Special Edition version), which offers a superb summary of the first five years of her astounding career and some of the best Polish Jazz one may ever get to listen to.
