The founding members - Joe ZawinulFind albums by this artist, Wayne ShorterFind albums by this artist and Miroslav VitousFind albums by this artist - are still present here, but it becomes apparent that Zawinul will dominate the band as the main composer and Vitous is on his way out. Considering the widely different moods this album combines and the virtuoso performances, this is a timeless masterpiece.
