The album presents ten tracks, eight of which are co-credited to Krieger, Barrow and other musicians playing on the album, one is by Zappa and another one by Denham. The music is surprisingly brilliant, and quite similar in spirit and ambience to some of the music by Zappa during his Fusion period. Krieger maintained an active musical career following The Doors disbanding and recorded several solo albums, but this is definitely his strongest solo recording so far. Overall, this is surprisingly quite excellent instrumental album, full of great compositions and superb instrumental performances, very much reminiscent of the Jazz-Rock Fusion Frank Zappa albums in the late 1970s. Krieger was always an excellent guitar player and his talent is still very much intact decades later. Both Doors and Zappa fans should be very happy with this album, and all Brass / Fusion lovers will be definitely surprised by what can be heard here. Warmly recommended!
