Often compared to The Rolling StonesFind albums by this artist in their early days, the band would start a path towards proto-Prog with their 4th album entitled "SF SorrowFind albums with this title" (1968), which was the first Rock opera, preceding The WhoFind albums by this artist´s "TommyFind albums with this title" by several months. This amazing album marks a dramatic departure for the band from their rough and often twisted , self-torturing themes into more Pop-oriented vistas, which they do with such perfection and almost ironic determination, that the resulting album is another masterpiece, alas again a commercial failure for the band. Over 30 years later this stuff still sounds amazing!
