Reduced to a trio, with the original guitarist making a guest appearance, the band produces more of their dark Symphonic Prog, with strong RIO elements. There are long improvised passages and use of dissonance, all of this well framed in the scope of the compositions. The pace of the album is quite relentless and the music intense and complex. Some influences from the early RIO bands (like MagmaFind albums by this artist) can be found occasionally, but most of the material is completely original. The more adventurous Prog listeners should enjoy this stuff immensely and the only pity is that the band produces a new album only every four years.
