The album presents twelve tracks, two of which are original compositions by Galliano and the rest are standards. All the music was arranged by Hendelman, except the two tracks by Galliano, which were arranged by the composer. The album offers a wonderful worm and crystal clear sound quality.
The music is absolutely delightful, beautifully melodic with a sentimental streak, and of course richly ornamented by World Music elements, both European, Gypsy and Latin. All the musicians are of course highly professional and skilled, and offer an amicable and emotional support to Galliano’s unique sound and his virtuosic accordion performances.
Overall, although on a lighter side of the Jazz scale, the music is highly emotional and artistically perfect, performed by the best Jazz accordion player today, which is always totally devoted to his music. For accordion lovers, this is of course a must have!
