GEORGIE FAME ~ NO WORRIES
FOUR LEAF CLOVER 5099 ~ UK ~ Jazz

Recorded: 1988 Released: 1988

This is a little known album by the British Jazz vocalist / keyboardist Georgie FameFind albums by this artist, recorded in Australia with local Jazz musicians: trumpeter Keith SterlingFind albums by this artist, trombonist James GreeningFind albums by this artist, saxophonist Col LoughnanFind albums by this artist, guitarist Jimmy DoyleFind albums by this artist, bassist Greg LyonFind albums by this artist and drummer Sunil D`SilvaFind albums by this artist. Fame plays organ and piano. The album presents thirteen tracks, five of which are his original songs, three feature his lyrics and others are Jazz standards or songs written by other songwriters. The album was only released in Australia and in Sweden.

Fame is my favorite British Jazz vocalist, and although this album does not innovate or present any special surprises, it offers a relaxed atmosphere and a wonderful collection of songs, so there is nothing not to like about it. It fits perfectly within my extensive Fame albums collection and I absolutely love it. The Australians play well and offer an amicable support to his vocals, and it is one of the jazziest albums of Fame recorded at the time.

Overall, this is a perfect album for the many Fame faithful followers, and it is as good as all his other recordings, in addition to being a true rare jewel in his discography. If you love Georgie Fame – this is an absolute must have!
