1st album by the Texan Prog group Deadwood ForestFind albums by this artist, which would come to the attention of Prog fans with their superb follow up album, called MellodramaticFind albums with this title. The album includes 14 songs quite different from each other but all well crafted and clearly showing the potential, which was to be realized in full on the next album. The musicianship is not perfect, but the youthfulness and naivete are charming and easily forgiven, considering the quality of the music. The keyboards parts are the album’s strongest point, with the Mellotron presiding. Definitely worth investigating.

2nd album by this Texan Prog group Deadwood ForestFind albums by this artist, which sounds like the US answer to AnglagardFind albums by this artist, the excellent Swedish group, and was produced by one of Anglagard`s members. Full of Mellotron of course. Dramatic and lyrical, with some great instrumental passages and good lead vocals. Definitely one of the best US Prog releases ever.
