They did manage to release their first album 4 years later, after the band went through personnel changes and wrote new material, but this early material remained unreleased for 34 years. Brought back to life after the band reformed and started recording again, this is a glorious reminder of the early days and emerges as one of the most interesting Scandinavian proto-Prog albums. Thörnvall, who didn’t continue to actively play with the band, remained a “hidden” member to this very day, serving as the band’s lyricist and historian. The music is absolutely sensational; a superb mix of blues and Prog drenched psychedelics. Included are two lengthy, multi-part suites (18+ and 16+ minutes long) performed with passion and enthusiasm. In retrospect this is a first class ticket to the wonderful era when music happened spontaneously and worked like magic. The album is a classic Scandinavian Prog gem. A must!
