This is an archival live album by the iconic American Rock group The DoorsFind albums by this artist, recorded on September 17, 1968 in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is the first official release of this material, which was previously available on bootleg releases. The music was recorded during the only European tour by the group, which they shared with Jefferson AirplaneFind albums by this artist. The material includes songs released on their first three albums. The material was remixed by the legendary sound engineer Bruce BotnickFind albums by this artist. The album presents twelve tracks: a spoken intro and eleven songs. The sound quality is of typical bootleg quality with the balance and volume a bit shaky at the first few minutes, but considering the importance of the material, all can be forgiven by people, for whom this music is the soundtrack of their lives.
Considering Jim MorrisonFind albums by this artist’s erratic behavior (and drugs intake) each and every Doors concert could develop in any possible direction. Morrison collapsed on stage during a concert in Amsterdam a couple of days earlier, and the Copenhagen performance might have been cancelled, but somehow he managed to recover and gave a soaring performance, as documented herein. His fascinating / mesmerizing personality on stage is undoubtedly a unique phenomenon in music history.

Overall, since The Doors were obviously one of the most important Rock groups of all time, every document of their history is also a document of the era, when music was not only of crucial importance to the entire generation of young people living at the time, but also served as the soundtrack of that era, often motivating the period’s most important developments.
