BO HANSSON ~ EL-AHRAIAH (WATERSHIP DOWN) VIRGIN 866141 (Barcode: 724386614124) ~ SWEDEN ~ Progressive Rock Recorded: 1977Released: 2004 4th album and his last from the 1970s. This is definitely his most serious work ever, inspired by literature and poetry and full of remarkable and beautiful musical themes, excellently performed by the musicians involved. However this serious approach pushed Hansson even further away from his traditional fans, who were looking for a much simplistic music. In retrospect this is a serene and deeply moving album which grows on you every tome you listen to it.
BO HANSSON ~ MELLANVASEN (ATTIC THOUGHTS) VIRGIN 866139 (Barcode: 724386613929) ~ SWEDEN ~ Progressive Rock Recorded: 1975Released: 2004 3rd album by the Swedish keyboards wizard and composer Bo Hansson. Following the success of his previous albums, Hansson decided to pursue a more serious composing career rather then touring with his band. This album is much deeper musically then his predecessors, with much space for improvisations by the excellent musicians who participate here. Unfortunately (as expected) it was much less commercially successful.

BO HANSSON ~ UR TROLLKARLENS HATT (MAGICIAN`S HAT) SILENCE 3615 ~ SWEDEN ~ Progressive Rock 2nd album from 1972 by the Swedish keyboards wizard. Following the worldwide success of his debut `Lord Of The Rings` Hansson created an even more ambitious work on this album involving more studio musicians. The atmpsphere is similar to `Rings` and the music quite advanced pre-dating the so-called `ambient` genre by almost 20 years.
