  | ATOLL ~ L`ARAIGNEE-MAL MUSEA 4012 ~ FRANCE ~ Progressive Rock
2nd album from 1975 by this band, which along with Ange were the most famous and celebrated French Prog outfits in the 70`s. Brilliant musicianship and quirky fire exchanges between the instruments resemble the Mahavishnu Orchestra. Pure delight!

  | ATOLL ~ MUSICIENS-MAGICIENS (MS) MUSEA 2100 (Barcode: 3426300021007) ~ FRANCE ~ Progressive Rock Recorded: 1973 Released: 2004
1st album by the seminal French Prog band AtollFind albums by this artist, which dominated the French Prog scene in the 1970s following this brilliant debut. They managed to create both Symphonic Prog and incorporate jazzy improvisations characteristic of Fusion. Excellent musicianship and compositions make this album sound as good today as it did when first released.

  | ATOLL ~ ROCK PUZZLE MUSEA 4024 ~ FRANCE ~ Progressive Rock
4th and last album from 1979. By the end of 1970s most Prog groups were changing their approach and looking for a new format and Atoll did the same. This album is much more song oriented, with some heavy studio arrangements and overdubs. But the greatness is still there and fans of the group still get their fair deal of good music. Especially interesting is the 1981 bonus tracks recorded with John Wetton, who as some point was considering joining the group.

  | ATOLL ~ TERTIO MUSEA 4019 ~ FRANCE ~ Progressive Rock
3rd album from 1977 by this band. Further development with more emphasis on the compositions and careful arrangements rather then the virtuosity of the players. Less fire then on the previous albums, but much more soul and sophistication. Still a true Prog classic.
