The music was recorded by the trio, which included Trower, bassist / vocalist James DewarFind albums by this artist and drummer Reg IsidoreFind albums by this artist. CD1 of the Box Set presents eight tracks, which are a new 2024 remaster (but original mix) of the original album released in 1974. All tracks were written by Trower, two of which were co-written with Dewar. CD2 of the Box Set presents eighteen tracks, which include a new 2024 remix of the original album, but in slightly longer and unedited version that appeared on the album, and ten tracks of outtakes and rarities. CD3 of the Box Set presets ten tracks recorded live at The Record Plant, Sausalito, CA, USA on May 29th, 1974. The BD disc includes all the material on the 3 CDs in in various digital formats, and is of course completely redundant. Trower´s guitar playing was often compared to that of Jimi HendrixFind albums by this artist, especially his early trio output heard on this album, but although some stylistic similarities can be clearly heard, Trower always had his very unique idiosyncrasies that set him apart from all other guitarist of the period. They do however share their deep love for the Blues, which profoundly influenced their approach to the instrument.
