SHAKTI ~ A HANDFUL OF BEAUTY COLUMBIA 494448 ~ UK ~ Jazz-World Fusion 2nd album from 1976. This time Shakti recorded their music in a studio, which of course created a different atmosphere. The group concentrates more on complex and delicate interplays rather then firey exchanges, compositions in place of extended improvisations. Neverthless it is another monster album of incredible beauty, full of sophistication and intellectual challenges. An unconditional must have for a true music lover.
